Summary:
This series consists of a short chronological record of actions taken and documents filed in petition cases heard by the Vice Chancellor of the 7th Circuit. Most cases concern matters of incompetency (lunatics, infants, and drunkards), the administration of estates, and petitions for special performance. Information includes the name(s) of the petitioner(s) or the subjects of the petition and of the solicitor, and a chronological listing of each action taken and their dates.

This series consists of a short chronological record of actions taken and documents filed in petition cases heard by the Vice Chancellor of the 7th Circuit.

The great majority of cases recorded in this volume concern matters of imcompetency (i.e., lunatics, infants, drunkards), the administration of estates, and petitions for special performance. For every case there is a record of the name(s) of the petitioner(s) or the subjects of the petition and of the solicitor and a chronological listing of each action taken and their dates.
