Scope and Content Note

Engrossed amendments are amendments in their final printed form which were presented for a Third Reading before the entire Convention. This volume tracks the engrossment procedure.

For each amendment sent for engrossment, the volume contains the following: introducer; introduction number; print number; reprint numbers; Third Reading number; date of receipt in Engrossment Room; date to printer; date of receipt of engrossed bill; date delivered to Convention Desk; number of pages; amended bills: date of receipt, date of receipt of engrossed bill, date delivered to Convention Desk, and number of pages amended; and remarks (e.g., recommitted, amended, sent by Desk, sent back to committee for correction).
