[ The foregoing request having been received and read, it is decreed as follows: ] fiat ut petitur, [ provided that ] a plan [ of it be submitted ] to the director general and councilors [ at the first opportunity ]. Done at Fort Amsterdam in New Netherland the 16th of January anno 1657.
