Discharge of Messrs. Noble and Farrington on payment of costs

Series:
Scanned Document:

The fiscal, in the meeting having submitted and read the interrogatories in which the magistrates of Vlissingen, William Nobel and Eduart Farringhton, were heard and examined in the commissaries’ presence, it is realized that the aforesaid magistrates allowed themselves to be misled by schout Tobias Feecx, for which they do deserve some punishment, that they also signed such a remonstrance as was inserted under the first of January. But considering their oral and written admission of guilt on the opposite page, and their promise to be more careful in the future, they are graciously pardoned and forgiven their mistake, provided that they will pay the legal costs. Dated as above.
