Extracts from the register of resolutions made by the lords directors of the West India Company, chamber at Amsterdam.

Thursday, the 13th of June 1658.

Having read a petition of the majority son and guardian of the minority son of the deceased Cornelis van Werckhoven, requesting that the director in New Netherland be authorized to constrain their factor there, Jaques Corteljau, to deliver an abstract and inventory, together with a rendering of accounts of the goods and the administration which the aforesaid Cornelis van Werckhoven, deceased, has left him; it was resolved, after deliberation that the aforesaid director shall be instructed that the same shall offer a helping hand to the attorney of the aforesaid petitioners in establishing order for the purpose of holding and constraining the aforesaid Corteliau to his pledge in the aforesaid matter, and helping and supporting the petitioners in their rights.
