Patent to Paulus van der Beeke

We, Willem Kieft, etc... have given and granted to Paulus van der Beeke a certain lot for a house and garden located between the lot of Willem Bredenbent and Ensign de Leeuw; in breadth in front of the canal or on the south side 6 rods, 3 feet, 3 inches; its length on the east side or next to the aforesaid Ensign de Leeuw 11 rods, 8 feet, one inch; its breadth on the north side or behind at the thicket 6 rods, 6 feet and 8 inches; its length on the west side or next to Bredenbent's 13 rods, one inch; amounting in all to 80 rods, 7 feet, 7 inches, with the express conditions etc...

Done at Fort New Amsterdam, 12 May 1646.
