We, Willem Kieft, etc... have given and granted to Cosyn Gerritsz a certain piece of land bounded on the north west by Twiller's plantation; it extends along his cultivated land until the thicket, east ½ point southerly 40 rods; along the thicket south by west ½ point westerly 280 rods; the breadth in the woods north ½ point westerly is 128 rods; then back to the place of beginning along the wagon road from Sapekamkan south south east ½ point easterly 220 rods; amounting in all to about 34 morgens, with the express conditions etc...

Done at Fort Amsterdam in New Netherland, 13 March 1647.
