We, Willem Kieft, etc... have given and granted to Jan Jansen van Ditmersz a plantation located south of Pieter de Schoorstenveger; it extends from a certain thicket next to the aforesaid Schoorsteenveger's land east south east and south east by east 135 rods until the marsh; along the aforesaid marsh 117 rods south by east and south south west a little westerly 60 rods, west north west a little northerly 34 rods, north north west 45 rods, north north west a little westerly 57 rods, north by west 46 rods, west south west 85 rods, north east by east 119 rods to the place of beginning, with certain protrusions; amounting in all to 29 morgens, 362 rods, with the express conditions etc...

Done at Fort Amsterdam in New Netherland, 23 March 1647.
