Patent to Jan Lubbertsen

Petrus Stuyvesant, on behalf of their High Mightinesses, etc... has given and granted unto Jan Lubbertsen a piece of land lying on the west side of the North River between Gemoenepaen and the Kil van Kol; extending along the river or bay southwest it is 80 rods in breadth; in the rear in the woods it is 80 rods in breadth; running into the woods north northwest it is 187½ rods in length on both sides; making together 25 morgens, with the express conditions etc..

Done at Amsterdam in New Netherland, 5 December 1654.
