Scope and Content Note

This series contains energy-related permit application hearings. Permits included cover power plant conversions (oil to coal), power plant construction (coal, hydro, nuclear, oil), siting of electric transmission lines, and natural gas pipelines. The files consist of applications for permits, legal briefs, hearing transcripts, memorandums and correspondence regarding the hearing. Additionally, many times the final decision of the permitting agency is included in the files of individual applications.
