Scope and Content Note

This series consists of the official meeting minutes of the Commission on Cable Television which document its actions/decisions pursuant to its mandated responsibility to provide oversight and regulation of the state's cable television (CATV) industry. Specifically, commission supervision encompasses, but is not limited to, approval of granted or renewed franchises to operate CATV systems; rate schedules; petitions to amend the terms of existing franchises; applications for waiver of commission rules; mergers of CATV systems; and investigations of complaints against CATV system operators. Appended to the minutes are relevant copies of commission orders, hearing officer reports, and staff memoranda and advisory opinions.
