Scope and Content Note
This series consists of certificates of conveyance of lands sold for unpaid taxes at public auctions held by the state comptroller in 1812, 1814, 1815, 1821, and 1826. Each certificate lists name of purchaser, number of acres purchased, county in which land was situated, location of land within larger tract, amount paid, and date of purchase.
