Scope and Content Note

This series consists of original, certified copies of descriptions of real property appropriated for parks and parkways by regional state park commissions, pursuant to Section 676a of the State Conservation Law. Most appropriations also include paper, linen, or blueprint maps of the property acquired by the state. Earlier appropriations include related documents such as copies of resolutions in support of land appropriation adopted by regional state park commissions and letters of approval signed by the governor.
