This series contains volumes listing payments of state funds. This is a continuation of Series A0862 Daybooks and Series A0863 Warrants. The books have no column headings, but information generally given includes the warrant number; date to whom paid; amount; and totals. A law of 1797 established the office of comptroller to settle the accounts of the state and to keep records of all state funds, accounts, and expenses.
