Scope and Content Note
This series is a bound volume of accounts recording payments to various state-funded institutions.
The information contained in the accounts is: the name of the school or institution; the amount received; the date paid. They are arranged by a type of apportionment: common school teacher; book; academy; agricultural societies; state school moneys; orphan asylums; hospitals; dispensaries; and charity weekday schools. These accounts were kept in accordance with the Comptroller's duty to oversee the state's financial affairs.
