Scope and Content Note
The minutes concern such subjects as: military activities, plans, and orders to officers; military fortifications, arms, and supplies; payments for military supplies or service; movements of British troops and ships; relations of Americans and British with Indians; punishment of suspected loyalists; approval of Declaration of Independence; issuance of paper currency; and communication with other colonies and with the Continental Congress concerning military and financial matters.
