Series consists of pamphlets, published and unpublished reports and conference or meeting schedules and proceedings, newsletters, clippings, press releases, and scattered correspondence relating to a variety of vocational education programs. The series appears to be a general information file.

The bulk of the records are printed or published and pertain to: adult education; apprenticeship programs; art education; commercial education; continuation schools; curriculum development; home economics education; vocational and trade schools; and vocational rehabilitation.

These are files of Dr. Lewis A. Wilson, Director of the Division of Vocational and Extension Education, 1920-1927, and Assistant Commissioner for Vocational and Extension Education, 1927-1937, and apparently were used by Dr. Wilson as both Division Director and Assistant Commissioner.
