Administrative History

The first Specialist in Vocational Education for Girls was appointed in 1914. The Bureau of Home Economics Education was established in 1928.

Scope and Content Note

Most of these records are field reports of visits made by Bureau staff to schools around the state and memoranda describing conferences held between Bureau officials and school faculty. There are also meeting programs, course syllabi, pamphlets, and an occasional sketch of facilities' layout.
