This small series consists of nine financial documents received by the colonial Treasurer's Office in settling the accounts of the province. Documents vary greatly in content and include enumerations of specific expenses paid; a general account of the several emissions of paper currency (dating back to 1714); queries posed to the treasurer by the Commissioners for Examining the Publick [sic] Accounts; lists of persons owed money by virtue of several legislative acts; and a list of charges of the colonial government "in time of peace."
