Scope and Content Note
These volumes contain lists of scientific articles on entomology, largely on harmful insects.
One volume contains citations to articles and reports dating ca. 1825-1897 arranged by subject (usually name of insect). Each entry gives the author's name, subject, name of publication, date, and page number.
The other volume contains a chronologically arranged bibliography dating ca. 1847-1910 (most after 1880). Entries in this volume give date, author, and names of species described or mentioned. Also included in this volume are small (ca. 3" x 4") mounted photostats of a French entomological article, and a descriptive "Key to Sawfly Larvae of the North Atlantic States" giving a description of the varieties of larvae.
