Scope and Content Note

A4468-95: This series consists of school district board meeting minutes and tax rolls for members of the Orange-Ulster BOCES. Microfilmed records include school board minute books for the Greenwood Lake Union Free School District (1924-1993) and the Highland Falls Central School District (1930-1974); and tax assessment rolls for the Florida Union Free School District (1993) and the Valley Central School District (Montgomery, N.Y.) (1992-1993).

A4468-96: No school tax rolls are included in this accretion. Microfilmed records include school board minute books for the Highland Central School District (1952-1991), the West Park Union Free School District (1973-1992), and the Ulster County Board of Cooperative Educational Services (1949-1988).

A4468-96A: Microfilmed records include minutes of the board of education for the Goshen Union Free School District (1856-1937) and its successor the Goshen Central School District (1937-1991), and tax assessment rolls for the Florida Union Free School District (1984-1992), Greenwood Lake Union Free School District (1990-1991), Marlboro Central School District (1982-1992), Monroe-Woodbury Central School District (1983-1992), and Valley Central School District (1983-1992).

Custodial History

This microfilm was produced by grants awarded and administered by SARA's Local Government Records Services for the 1993 and1994 grant cycles. Grantees submitted two copies of each roll of project film: a silver copy for secure storage at the State Records Center; and a duplicate copy, containing only non-restricted records, for public use at the State Archives research room.

Use copies of rolls containing restricted records are not maintained by the Archives, and are withdrawn from public use at time of accessioning. Security copies of such rolls are held at the State Records Center and are subject to restrictions under law.

A4468-95:Restricted film was marked and use copies were weeded at time of accession; 35 rolls of master negatives (security copy) were sent to the State Records Center (TL 95-44).

A4468-96:Restricted film was marked and use copies were weeded at time of accession; 150 rolls of master negatives (security copy) were sent to the State Records Center (TL 96-13).

A4468-96A:Restricted film was marked and use copies were weeded at time of accession; 89 rolls of master negatives (security copy) were sent to the State Records Center (TL 96-36).
