Administrative History
State Scholarships in Science and Engineering were established in 1956 and discontinued in 1962. Awards, which could be used for undergraduate study in scientific and engineering fields at approved colleges in New York State, were made based on results of a competitive examination.

The following information is provided about each candidate: name; list; address; high school; examination score; rank; candidates' acceptance or declination; scholarship number; college attended; and course of study.
