Administrative History
The Kings County Board of Pharmacy was established in 1879 (Chapter 502) and abolished at the time of New York City consolidation in 1897 (Chapter 378).
Scope and Content Note
List of pharmacists registered by the State.
Each entry gives the following information about the registrant: registration number; name; place of business (address); length of experience; position occupied (proprietor/pharmacist, clerk/assistant pharmacist, superintendent); basis on which registration granted (experience, graduation from a medical or pharmacy school usually named, certificate of qualification and name of issuer); date of registration; and remarks (e.g. "deceased," "new store," "registration revoked," etc.).
