This series consists of the work diaries of engineers employed by the New York State Engineer and Surveyor's office. The diaries serve as a day-to-day work calendar of the author/engineer and describe the type of work being performed on a given day, as well as any travel or expenses required. The engineers who kept the diaries are not usually identified.
