Scope and Content Note
This series consists of one volume of preliminary estimates of quantities and costs for various Barge Canal contracts. The records include contract numbers; alterations with approval, date and change in cost; payments for extra work; descriptions of the canal section to be worked on; lists of bidders; and tabular that include item number, quantities, items of work; estimates and bids. Narrative statements describing alterations and extra work orders are also included.
