Scope and Content Note

This series consists of weekly summaries of fires investigated, premises inspected, and boilers inspected by the Fire Marshal's office. All summaries are handwritten on a printed form that includes day of the week, city/town/village, county, the location of the inspection or investigation, and the total expenses incurred by the office. Location information includes an address and the name of the business or owner. The only description of results of the inspection comes in a field for remarks, which is sporadically annotated.
