Scope and Content Note
The series consists of a checkbook for a "Magazine Account" containing stubs for checks issued and a large number of blank checks. The account was apparently set up to pay for storage of dynamite or other explosives. Stubs are present for checks number 1 (December 9, 1912) through number 19 (February 17, 1915). Each stub provides check number; date; to whom paid (typically by order of the treasurer); for what purpose (typically a monthly account "as per statement"); and the amount of the check.
