Scope and Content Note

This series consists of a two-volume journal that documents expenditures in prison accounts, most relating to prison industries. The volumes cover the period October 1892 to March 1900. Journal pages are divided into name of account: Prison, Hollow Ware, Iron Castings, State Industries, Women's State Industries, etc.

For each payment, the journal includes date of entry, individual/company being paid, and amount paid. Each page includes total expenditures for each account that is carried over to the next journal page.
