This series consists of periodic reports by the State Commission in Lunacy concerning visits to the Middletown State Homeopathic Hospital. Reports include information on buildings and grounds, the general administration and condition of the hospital, and the names of patients who were spoken to during visits.
Use of Records
Access Restrictions
Records identifying patients are restricted in accordance with Mental Hygiene Law, Section 33.13, relating to confidentiality of clinical records. Access is permitted under certain conditions upon approval by the Office of Mental Health.
Acquistion Information
This series was transferred to the State Archives from Middletown Psychiatric Center in June 2000 and accessioned in March 2001.
