Scope and Content Note
These reports document the use of a variety of therapies and the number of patients receiving the therapies each month. Some reports are further categorized by ward, and some reports list patients by name. Some reports categorize information by sex of patient. Types of therapies are given as somatic therapies including tranquilizing drugs, convulsive therapy, and insulin therapy; psychotherapy; and others. Extensive lists of tranquilizing drugs are given.
Access Restrictions
Restricted in accordance with Mental Hygiene Law, Section 33.13, relating to confidentiality of clinical records. Access is permitted under certain conditions upon approval by the Office of Mental Health.
