This series consists of archival copies of the publicly accessible Web site of the Temporary Commission of Investigation, which was which was empowered to investigate "any matter concerning the public peace, public safety and public justice."
B2041-06: This accretion consists of a copy of the Temporary Commission of Investigation site that was produced on December 27, 2006, shortly before Governor George E. Pataki (1995-2006) left office. It includes annual reports (1989, 1992-1994, 1996-2005), reports concerning individual investigations of the actions of state and local government officials, employees, and law enforcement personnel (1965, 1992, 1995, 1998-2006), information about commission members, and other materials documenting the history and activities of the commission.
B2041-08: This accretion consists of a copy of the Temporary Commission of Investigation site produced on May 7, 2008, shortly after the resignation of Governor Eliot L. Spitzer (2007-2008). It includes annual reports (1989, 1992-1994, 1996-2007), reports concerning individual investigations of the actions of state and local government officials, employees, and law enforcement personnel (1965, 1992, 1995, 1998-2008), information about commission members, and other materials documenting the history and activities of the commission.
B2041-09: This accretion consists of a copy of the Temporary Commission of Investigation site that was produced on April 2, 2009, one day after the commission permanently ceased operations. This copy includes annual reports (1989, 1992-1994, 1996-2008), reports concerning individual investigations of the actions of state and local government officials, employees, and law enforcement personnel (1965, 1992, 1995, 1998-2009), information about commission members, and other materials documenting the history and activities of the commission. The live version of the Web site ceased to exist shortly after this copy was made.
