Scope and Content Note

This series consists of archival copies of the official Web site of Senator Toby Ann Stavisky. Researchers should note that in 2009, each Senator was allotted space on the main Senate Web site and the official sites of individual Senators were removed from the live Web.

B2263-06: This accretion consists of an archival copy of Senator Stavisky's official Web site produced on December 26, 2006, shortly before Governor George E. Pataki (1995-2006) left office. It contains biographical information, photographs, a district map, and press releases (2006) concerning Senator Stavisky's support for government reform and legislation mandating health insurance parity for mental illness and autism and other matters of interest to her constituents. Constituent mailers and brochures concerning prescription drug coverage and safety tips for senior citizens, tips and programs for consumers, energy conservation, and the 2006 New York City parking calendar are also included.

B2263-08: This accretion consists of a copy of Senator Stavisky's official Web site produced on June 12, 2008, shortly after the resignation of Governor Eliot L. Spitzer (2007-2008). It contains biographical information, photographs, a district map, and press releases (2008) concerning health care provisions in the 2008-09 Executive Budget and other matters of interest to Senator Stavisky's constituents. Constituent mailers and brochures concerning prescription drug coverage and safety tips for senior citizens, tips and programs for consumers, and energy conservation are also included.

Researchers should note that, owing to the structure of the live site and the limitations of Web archiving technology, most of the information contained within this site could not be captured properly in mid-2008. In addition, some of the navigational links do not work properly. However, identical sets of navigational links appear at the top and the bottom of each page. If the link in one set does not work correctly, click the Web browser's Back button and then click on the corresponding link in the other set.
