This series consists of a typescript calendar of cases presented to the Court of Assizes, compiled sometime before 1911 by A. J. F. Van Laer, archivist of the New York State Library. Entries generally contain the date, parties to the case, nature of the case, allegations, court proceedings, disposition of the case, and page number on which the case appears in the minutes of the Court of Assizes (series A0271).

Custodial History

Documentation included indicates this calendar was microfilmed by the New York Public Library in 1975. Incidentally, the microfilm roll contains a volume labeled "Riker Coll., Memoria, Vol. 5," which probably comes from the James Riker Papers held by the New York Public Library.
