Scope and Content Note
This series consists of newsletters and other published material created by the Central New York Developmental Disabilities Services Office and its predecessors, the Rome Developmental Disabilities Services Office, the Rome Developmental Center, and the Rome State School. Publications include the Herald, Herald Supplement, Dispatch, Daily News, and Center Folk.
Additional copies of the Herald publication are held by the New York State Library.
B2441-19: This accretion contains published pamphlets created by the New York State Department of Mental Hygiene, the Rome Developmental Disabilities Services Office, and its predecessors.

Access Restrictions
Names of clients are restricted in accordance with Section 33.13, Mental Hygiene Law, relating to confidentiality of clinical records. Access permitted under certain conditions upon application to and approval by the Office for People with Developmental Disabilities.
