Scope and Content Note
This series consists of a ten-page report by John L. Stainthorpe, containing detailed summaries of interviews with National Guard personnel and medical workers at the retaking of Attica Correctional Facility in 1971. The interviews focused on the subject of medical treatment of inmates after the event. Interviewees appear to have volunteered to talk, rather than be systematically selected. The report is labeled "Attica Brothers Trial Office."
