Writs of procedendo are orders from the Supreme Court of Judicature directing the sheriff of New York City and County to deliver a defendant in a proceeding before the Court of Common Pleas for the City and County of New York (known as the Mayor's Court) into the jurisdiction of the Supreme Court.
