Scope and Content Note
The series consists of computer-generated lists documenting the floor votes cast by Assemblyman William B. Hoyt during regular sessions of the State Assembly. Depending on the year reported, the tallies may give some or all of the following information: bill number (Senate/Assembly), date, and title/description; type of vote (roll call or unanimous); the motion upon which the vote was taken; vote totals (for both yea/nay); and the Assemblyman's actual vote.
Abbreviations used to record the vote include: YEA; NAY; ABS (absent); EOR (excused for other reasons); ELB (excused for legislative business); and NV (no vote/abstain).
