Scope and Content Note
This series consists of Lawrence Rulison's records regarding the Temporary State Commission on State-Local Fiscal Relations. Rulison was a member of the Commission from 1962 until 1965 when he left the State Senate. The records concentrate largely on the administration of the Commission and include committee reports, agendas, scope and review of studies, general background memoranda, state aid impact analyses, Commission reports and budgets, reports of fiscal problems, and notes and minutes of meetings of the Commission.

Custodial History
These records were a gift to Syracuse University's Manuscripts and Special Collections in 1965 and 1966 from Lawrence Rulison. They were transferred to the New York State Archives in June 2006 and were accessioned during the summer of 2007.
