Agreement of Willem Turck to collect money from Philip Geraerdy from the West India Company

I, Willem Turck ], supercargo ] of the ship De Swarte Raven, acknowledge that I have received ] from the hands of Philip Geraerdy an account against the West India Company of two hundred and one guilders, three stivers, to collect the same from it. When the money shall be received by Willem Turc, he shall, if he returns to New Netherland, invest the same in goods according to the order given him, which goods shall then be at the risk of Philip Geraerdy; but if said Willem Turc should not return to this country, he shall retain the money received by him in his custody, subject to the order of Philip Geraerdy. Done the [blank] of November anno 1643, in Fort Amsterdam, New Netherland.
