Resolved by the director-general and council [ ] reasons that the proceedings concerning the confiscated contraband, which remain between Fiscal Cornelis van Thienhoven and Claes Bordingh, be settled and reconciled; if possible, in the presence of the honorable Mr. Nacasius de Sille and the attorney Le Bleu. Done in council at Fort Amsterdam in New Netherland, dated 27 December 1653.
