Plea and answer to the indictment of Michel Tadens

Michiel Tades, presently imprisoned, having received the foregoing charge of the aforesaid fiscal, replies to be innocent thereof and that he has been unjustly accused by those who say that he regularly sells brandy or some such to the wilde. When asked further how the wilt got the strong drink, which the fiscal found in his hand in his house, he answered that the wilt had brought him a bunch of fish and that he presented him that dram for it. Dated as above.
