Copy. Herewith is everyone informed and made known that the recognition and the excise of the peltries, wines, and beers that are exported out of the province of New Netherland, except for those going to the fatherland with the return ships, which until now has been paid to Mr. Poulus vander Beecq, shall from now on be paid to the customs inspector Warnaer Wessels until further order of the esteemed lord director general and councilors. Done at Fort Amsterdam in New Netherland. Dated as above.
