Action of Warnaer Wessels vs. Simon Joosten

Warnaer Wessels, plaintiff, against Simon Joosten, defendant. The plaintiff demands payment for excise of last year at the sum of 46 guilders.
The defendant acknowledges the debt. He says that he offered money to the plaintiff, but says that he refused to receive the same, saying that it was of too poor quality.
The parties having been heard, the director general and councilors condemn the defendant, on pain of implementation, to pay within six weeks. Dated as above.
