Order on the petition of Jan Flaman for payment of an anchor and rope

Received the petition of Jan Flaman, requesting that he be compensated for an anchor and rope which he says he lost in the service of the Company anno 1655 while returning from the South River.

After due deliberation it was decided that the petitioner be ordered to produce proof that the aforesaid anchor and rope was lost in the service of the Company and that it wasn’t previously accounted for.
