After due deliberation it was decided to accept the petitioner in a writ of appeal, provided, according to custom, twelve guilders is put down as security, which having been done, he is ordered, because the schout of the Swedes is ready to depart, to deliver his charge and conclusion within twenty-four hours, in order to be able to dispose thereon as promised. Done at Fort Amsterdam in New Netherland. Dated as above.
