Having heard the parties, the director general and councilors order the defendants not to use or make any other road than the one presently in use there until the director general and councilors or the magistrates of the village of Middelborch shall have directed otherwise in this matter. And for their improper treatment of each other, both parties are condemned to pay a fine of one pound sterling each, and Tomas Stivens is ordered to make and lay out the road as it was directed by lord La Montagne and Captain Tomas Willet.
