Appointment of assessors to value houses ordered to be pulled down near the fort

Messrs. Cornelis Steenwyck, Johannes van Brugh, Johannes de Peyster and Ægidius Luyck are hereby authorized and requested to value the lots of those who, on account of the fortification, are ordered to move, besides the necessary expenses to be incurred by them in the moving of their said houses; also to value the houses and lots which, according to their opinion, are to be given in return to said persons; with power to adjoin to themselves one @ two persons in the valuation of those houses and lots, and to report their proceedings to the Governor as soon as possible.
