Summary:
This series consists of maps of urban area boundaries drafted in district offices or modified from, U.S. Geological Survey
quadrangle maps. Maps had to be approved by the U.S. Public Roads Administration or Bureau of Public Roads for states wishing
to receive special aid for highways lying within urban areas. Some maps show all Federal-Aid highways systems; older maps
show only primary, secondary, and urban routes.
