Scope and Content Note
This series consists of correspondence, memoranda, reports, circulars, publications, and sample blank forms concerning the development and promulgation of general policy for and administration of the Urban Education Program. These records contain information on the following subjects: Commissioner's regulations; application procedures; urban education guidelines (policy); legislation; legal opinions of counsel regarding legislation; funding history; budget and workplans; staff activities, including conferences and meetings attended; projects completed (statistical summaries); legislative reports; and background and policy revisions ("historical" files).
