Scope and Content Note

The series consists of records of a Division of the Budget examination unit responsible for statewide oversight of state labor relations matters. The records may include correspondence, memoranda, reports, press releases, memoranda of understanding, and other administrative records.

The records document the Division's role in the development of state labor management policy and subsequent labor-management relations in the period prior to the establishment of the Governor's Office of Employee Relations (GOER), which assumed some of this unit's responsibilities.
